1st ride: Balls to the Wall

Hey all you Joe's, I got out there for a good spin around the woods.

Up to Ballaison, via the muddy marsh, then into the Fairy Forest, down the other side, sweet single track, and back along the Deliverance route. ;)))

Trying to perfect the Grand Bois run. I was thwarted by farmer Joe!@£&!?!?

He had ploughed through a track I wanted to use, oh well, I had to find a different way back. 

Here are the stats of the ride...

Distance covered: 35km

Ride time: 2hrs 30mins

Height gained: 480m

No spills or technicals. ;)))

Pass Portes du Soleil

How about a whole day's riding around the Hautes Savoie mountains, end June 2015??? I have entered the 2015 Pass Portes du Soleil ride: 80km of trails, 6'000m downhill, 1'000m climbing (you get to take the lifts up)!!! How cool is that - even Papy could do this!!!

I have entered to ride on Fri 26th June from Montriond-Les Lindarets in France, easy to get to, and Fri has less people = more fun for us!!!

Let's get a group together and do some shredding!!!

Balls bruised ego (and hip)

So, not to make a meal of my spill or anything, but here is some visual evidence of the hit I took on my hip, and the resultant bruising. Boum boum knows what this feels like!!!

Balls down, but not out

Hey guys, thank you for your calls and messages today. Yes, quite a tumble and I didn't see it coming. I am being looked after in the Geneva cantonal hospital for a couple of days. Morphine is awesome, I'm gonna ask for additional stocks when they kick me out of here.
