Seriously, the BEST bike I have EVER ridden!!
The suspension is SO supple = magic carpet!
I really can't explain how good it is - it blows everything else I have tried clean away.
Small bump - amazing
Large hits - amazing
High speed - amazing
Climbing - amazing
All round better by far and also faster up and down than the Aluminium version
Lastly...climbs without ANY bob at all. YES!!
Finally compared to the RDO, my Tallboy experiment was a waste of time...but it got sold yesterday for a very good price so I am very happy!!

The new Harley
Joe Balls, Papy & I had a surprise in Voirons last September
Introducing Olivier's electric motorcycle, who lives in Veigy and was a mechanic
As you can see, it's a prototype, but it allowed him to climb the road from Saint-Cergues to the forest track at 40km/h! Of course you can also pedal;-)
The engine has 1000 watts and the big ring has 60 teeth, who can do better?
He has even given a nickname to his electric motorcycle, in text ...
... and in picture! Hmm, I still think between the Harley and the electric motorcycle!

Everyone should have one....a LEFTY that is
So you've all seen my SIR with the BLACK lefty - 110mm cut down to 80mm suspensio for man sized wheels.... but an extremely steep head angle....made the bike very nervous and, well, who the hell likes 80mm travel. Even on a niner was not enough.
So enter the 2006 Lefty MAX 140mm. Reduced to about 115-120 mm travel for "real" wheels. I scored it off ebay for 400 USD and it is in NEW condition - "only used on the road". When I opened up the package.....confirmed,no sign of ANY wear. Inside....the original grease, no dirt and perfect seals ! Yes! Another fine purchase off ebay.
So how does it ride I hear you ask......MAGNIFICO. Warp speed down the petit nain yesterday evening !!!
Yahhhhh!!!

For its 1st outing, the orange rocket discovers Petit Salève: «so many singletracks, I'll have fun in Boumboum land!»
