The Impossible climb?!....Ride report.

The Impossible climb is no longer impossible....

Points suggestion:

- The "I love to ride" award for all riders for participating +1

- The Edmund Hillary award for riding the "Impossible" climb....Dopey + 5

- Albert Eistein said;"The only reason for time is so that everything does not happen at once"!....Labrico for let his friends wait -1.

Jeune genevois ride Best ride of the season

It was the best ride of the season according to all participants...... If true...3 points for 3DC

We start for 3DS's place ride new trail to the Asse station climb with the train to St Cergues. From there reach le col du Marchairuz passing by the Crêts de la Neuve. Best view poits in the region.

Steak sur ardoise!!!!! mmmmmm! 3 poitns for 3DC as per Iron Ass meat expert.

Ride back from Col du Marchairuz.

Going throuh monts et vaux, the crowd had a lut of fun

Best OTH of the year 3DC passing over and landing in a paddle of mud. Worth 3 points for 3DC

The downhill gettins down to Bogis-Bossey was even better than the brazilian track according to Labrico

The final in the jakuzzi did not yed end the day whic was followed by the extra meal.... Scampi salde, mussels, pizza a gogo and...... Meringues Crème de Gruyer... which according to the participants shall give 3 additional points to 3DC.

Therfore suggested points: Total 12 points for 3 DC and 2 poits for all riddes who had chance to get a nice day off that Thursday.... Labrico, Iron Ass, Zulu and 3DC for the freat day.

The New Mt Muessy ride

The team: No5, Limoncello Frusback, Iron Ass, 3DC

The ride: New Mt Muessy, 32 km, 590 m, 2h08

The Condition: Beautiful, dry and sunshine

We all agree, that the Mt Muessy is one of the most fun, beautiful and divers ride among all the cats & dogs rides along the right or left bank. It's alos the only place to notice that the salève is far enough to be nice.

3DC show to the cats (was only cats for this rides) new tracks on the north face of Mt Muessy to make the ride to a total of 32 km.

Back home, beers, (we had no thime for jaccuzzi again this time) steack and Diolinoir at the Diligence have made this longest Tuesday of the season a perfect moment.

Show up points: No5, Limocelleo Frusback, Iron Ass, 3DC +1

Hosting point: 3DC +1

The Push my back point: For Limoncello Frusback (this one will be long to engrave on the 1st aid kit) +0.5 for going down bling on the chemin des Dames not knowing the track. On day he will join the torn short, stiches, cast, hospital team with Labrico and Missiles.

There is a 2 points bonus for the first one to pass the tricky stage (on the bike of course) on the New Mt Muessy loop.(if the ref agree of course)

A perfect ride....

Joe's thanks for a perfect ride! Here is the summary.....of course comments, suggestions and extra posts are welcome.

Summary:

Paparazzi: Dopey

Departure: 18:00 hours sharp...even Labrico was on time. He had to stop to look at some pretty women but quickly realized that is friends are more important. He made it on time.

Two hours of perfect riding on the Petite Saleve...we reached the summit after 01:15 hours riding as a group. Nobody got lost and no technicals!

Points:

+ 1 for Aaron the newb....for doing a nice OTB. We almost got it on camera...

+ 0.5 for the newbs...three rides in a row and on time and no nagging during rides. What a pleasure...

Papy...the pictures of the newbs look rather bad without proper Cat wear....maybe you can start thinking about a premium out fit for those boys.
