News from South America

Hi guys,

Here in South America, after 3'500 km, the bike trip continues toward north along Chile and Argentina. 2 months more and return just in time for the 2012 season with iron legs.
Hopefully we can also train the mtb up and down hill technic:

Perhaps a new member for 2012, but I must be carefull with Labricot.

She must improve the up hill but is ok for down hill on stonny trails:

In any case I will now be able to bring beers and barbecue staff on the bike for Tuesday evening dinners:
See you soon,
Beau-joe-lais

Mega Powder Day in Crans-Montana

It all started after Didier Cuche won the Streif for the fifth time...powder snow had piled up the whole night for us to shred...nobody could move across the ski resort but Balls and Papy skis on their shoulders ! The slopes and the sky opened up, powder under our skis to descend on virgin snow amongst the trees and over cliffs...still with me ? Not too shabby huh ? Now enjoying - not the waitress but a Toscanan Nipozzano red wine....Until Balls decides to have a last drink at Senso's bar....where we met Tequila's and Zoef "better" compatriots...

Blizzard in Crans-Montana !

The Mini made it on ice and snow covered roads, overtaking stranded many cars, bringing safely Balls and Papy to Swiss heaven Restaurant Le Mayen where they stuffed their faces - getting ready for magical powder skiing day ! More please !

Riders: Dopey, Missile, Nameless, Renaud...

What: 2 x descents at Le Crozet ! (Dopey & Missile)

What (bis) 2 x descents at le Saléve (Nameless & Renaud)

Pointage

1 point each only - we did all meet at Le Crozet with the intent to bike but were foiled by the weather (storm) !!

Dopey & Missile got two good runs under the rain and the lightining (the telecabine stoped 3x due to lightining strikes) before the telecabine stopped for good, at which point nameless arrived!!

Nameless & Friend decided they really needed to ride so continued on to the Saléve for a couple of runs when the storm had passed !
