End Of Season Dinner & Prize-Giving - Presentation

Ladies....

To Ref or Not To Ref: it was a pleasure reffing for you again this year! I did my best to be fair and impartial - those who provided guinness got less impartiality than others - you can repeat next year if I am renominated to that position!!

Riding the Unknown: 2011 would have seen the same riders riding the same rides if  Dopey had not organised endless rides in places we had never been before. Again "chapeau" to you for dragging us to far away places even though this involved some of us wearing chicken suits!!!

Paparazzi: Having a record of the events this year proved once again that Dopey should keep on 'foto  foto' ing. Unfortunately for him, he now knows what it is like to take endless photos pf your children and family and no-one taking any pictures of him!! I plan to help more in that area next year, but meanwhile please keep up the 'foto foto' !!!!

Finally, for those who weren't there, here is the 2011 End of Season Presentation

See you on the skis or (more probably for the next few weeks) on the bike !!!

  1. Joe's thank you for a fantastic season once again. I had to cut myself out of my bedroom through the mixture of cheese, garlic and alcohol air on Sunday morning.....Nasty! But still with a smile on my face :-)

I will make a selection of photo's and will send those by WeTransfer to all of you before the end of the year.

  3. 2011...the year of the Ninerd! Even most of those who ride Specs have climbed on the 29er wagon...my main takaway for 2011!
Other than that, my most heartfelt thanks to the Missile not only for putting together the scores and points and prizes, but also for keeping the humour and the fun into the rides. I can think of no other rider as ref so you can't resign missile, even if you'd like to!
And I join the comment on Joestie's constant search for the far reaches of the riding universe, I kinda feel like I'm in Star Trek on a mountain biking mission...superb rides + organization + photos, and I daresay, key reason to why the newbies have been so amazed!
The big opportunity for improvement next year is increasing the population of the cats...and decreasing the number of injuries of Labrico!
Thanks all and see you on and off the bikes and the skis!

  4. I also want to thank the Ref and Dopey for all the hard work through the year. Even though I only got to enjoy half of it, it was a really amazing time and I look forward to coming back and enjoying some more. Always the toughest part of leaving Geneva.... missing the biking club!
Ref, can't see the presentation and would really like to. Can you techno wiz it for me?
    Have an excellent Christmas everyone.
