"Team"??...well we don't race except each other and for the best place at the bar (or the first round of kamikaze's).
Since 1995 a few members have come and gone, but the core is still mostly around, biking on, perhaps a tad slower now, but still with the enthusiasm of their youth.
We bike in and around the Geneva area in Switzerland including the Jura mountains and the Saleve. 100's of km of fantastic terrain. If you don't know it, too bad - the riding is great. If you want to join us, we'll show you some nice trails: price of entry is beer and strictly no riding in front of us!! But also....no riding too far behind us!!
Papy - our 'doyen' - almost - still thinks he can get in front of missile - but since he rides his harley.... well not much. a.k.a. Old Jo. He loves his new RIP 9 - apparently assembled for his son...
Missile - the ref. Buy him beers and he is happy. 29ers only please, preferably Niner flavoured and GREEN. Makes a mean cheez fondoo.
Labrico - used to fix everything. Still does when he doesn't need fixing himself. Don't challenge him to a race - we like him in one piece.
3-decis - Rides his harley to the vieux and back and sometime still rides with us. Our new diesel. Longest serving member with Papy, Missile and Labrico
Nascar - our resident pompier. Dont challenge him to a climb. You wont win. And if you do. Dont rub it in! Watch for bike rotation.
Dopey - we miss you - come back. Has no opinion on anything at all. Never. Ever. Watch out for tire tracks over your back. Add alcohol. Preferably a chanappé. Doesn't enjoy riding hiw WFO. Ever. At all.
Boum Boum - the one bike serves all kind of guy - tang flavored niner is his preferred mount - but sometimes a RIP 9 makes showing. Thanks for showing us the 29er way of life! Plays the triangle professionally!
Limoncello - makes his own. Say no more! If you get invited chez lui. Dont drink it all - leave some for Missile.
Balls - Our remaining Z.A. stalwart - rides with his saddle in a strange position. Quiet. Not. Enjoys riding in the mud!
Nameless - we forgot his name as he rarely shows up - but we love it when he comes - he always brings work for us! He likes jumping obstacles - on his WFO.
Husky -Hopefully retirement means he wont slow down, but come biking with us more. No more month end closings. If he hosts - don't eat for a week - fondoo chinoise a gogo!!!
Alpine - Renaud. Alpine. Go figure. Drives his bike like he stole it. Try and keep up.
Beau-Jo-Lais - always ready, always smiling. His favorite word is "IN" (for the ride). Eats andouillette....go figure....he is French and from Lyon!!
GI Jozette a.k.a. Eiron Lady - Makes a nice change to not have to look at hairy legs... .or.... anyway, dont be fooled....ladylike and elegant this lady is tough as nails. Oh....she can ride a storm too. 1 yr on the bike....watch out for season 2!!
Weasel - rides a hard tail sometimes. Rides a DH bike sometimes. I know he told me why, but I still can't remember why he's called weasel. Our newest noob!! Likes riding in the snow - fast.
Toothless - Newest noob from Z.A. His first time out with us almost lead to heart failure! But his nickname comes from an OTB. Not. What a great joke that was. Welcome Toothless!!
Ex members: Come riding with us again
Zulu, Mike-the-bike, Honeybadger....
