The Ride: Juicy Mosquito Path
The Length and Duration: 48-50km - about 2hrs something
The Dine: Fabulous Cafe du Cheval-Blanc - Le Carre
It all started on the wrong foot..rain showed up..some of us were more heroic than others...convincing took place but we ALL went for the ride ! We did not regret it, the sky cleared up, so did the trails, well almost...A flat, out run the mosquitos, tumblings of some, up, down and around the alleys to finally hit the border men patrol path...who said wet, muddy, trichery...we had it all. Two beers for six (fresh) were waiting at Papys's (ask Julian why) shower time, then LE CHEVAL BLANC and its welcoming singing waitresses..awesome food..as said earlier we did not regret it.
Let's talk points now:
+1 for All for the ride and Enjoying It !
+1 for Papy for hosting/organizing
+1 for 3DC for getting the waitress to sing for us..
+.5 for Limoncello,Husky, Badger for being "rain heroes"
- .5 for 3DC and Papy for being "rain cowards"
+.5 for Boum-Boum for being patient + single chain ring use on his beast
- .5 for Badger for bringing his own beer in Munich...
+.5 for Badger - because we are gentlemen (but this is a warning !)
+.5 for Papy for the "Bob L'Eponge" award - leading the pack and brushing away the water from the leaves for the others...(no need of shower)

Ooops sorry, corrections ! Read 38-40 kms...I know we were going fast but not that fast.
