Dust in the Jura.....






Joe's thanks for a super ride in the Jura. Nice up hill and even better down hill....All smiles in beautiful Jura country.

Riders: Nascar, No. 5, Zulu, Dopey and Joern

Directions: departure in Tranchepied, Cheserex, Pacours Vita Trelex, Givrins, climb to Arzier, past the farm at La Voilette, direction Ruines d'Oujon, towards St Cergue, une demi de Fruiteres de Nyon, a loup through the Pacours Vita in St Cergue, new trail past Monteret to La Chevrerie, fast descend through the tunnel to La Bellangere, Pacours Vita Trelex, Gingins and home to Tranchepied.

Length: 2:50 hours riding time

Highlights:
- A dry, sunny and snow free Jura. With the best trails ever....
- ......enormous dust clouds during our fast & furious descends through the tunnel....
- Some new trails....and a new tour (to be tested during the next tuesday night in the Jura)
- A fine PBS from Dopey.....he was cutting the corner to much. (Plate Bek Smak....1 point for the translation in proper English slang)
- Fine German beers and pasta at Chateau Greta

On the way from Tranchepied to Cheserex:
Nascar: ....Dopey do you have your tool ready?
Dopey: Yes!
Nascar:....I need to fix my front derailleur.....
Dopey: Here....
Nascar: Thanks....how does this thing work....
Dopey: With the button on the side.....or you brake it on two...@£/&!:-C*
Nascar:....I see (NOT!)
Dopey:....do we have to report this to the ref?!
Nascar: The ref?.....As long as he can not do this....(Nascar shows a finger)

Derailleur fixed.....Joe's continue the ride happily!
