Hans Dampf - Great Tires - But Check Your Compound!!

Last minute info for Chx Zmt and for those riding Hans Dampf:
These are the best tires I have tried on the RIP9, BUT you have to use the right compound: so if you are unsure....check your rear tire compound: if you have a TrailStar it might be buggered, or might easily become buggered.

Hans Dampf come in at least 2 versions: The Moral of the Story:
- Trail Star (Soft Shoulder) = Perfect front wheel "only"
- Pace Star (Medium/Soft Shoulder) = perfect for rear, but also OK for front.

From 1'st hand experience: after a few rides only...
The Trail Star version is crap on the back: way too soft....the knobbies rip off very easily, I checked the shoulder knobbies by hand, most of mine looked OK but are completely ripped underneath and the central knobbies were very worn/torn

How Do I Know...
I moved my perfectly good, but slightly worn TrailStar from the front wheel to the back wheel and put on a new TrailStar on the Front wheel and rode....

Results after 5 or 6 3 hour rides:
The Front TrailStar shows limited signs of wear after a few "good rides"
The Rear TrailStart is buggered after a bit of heavy use: my previous PaceStar was way more resistant - the reason I didn't put a Pacestar on the back was I didn't have one.
