The burial tombs Ride Report

Two Niner bluebirds flew over the tracks on September 2. Starting in Céligny plus meal at a very nice cottage just next to Lake Geneva. View of the Mont-Blanc, private port, the whole shebang...

There was a lesson to be learned from this ride: do not try something different that "Bord de la Versoix" or "Mont-Mussy". Not many trails.

The highlight (!!!) was visiting the old cemetery of Celigny, with tombs of famous people like Richard Burton and Alistair MacLean. A rare moment of reflection in the Tuesday rides...

Specs: 36 km, 2:11, 623m up

Riders: Missile & Boumboum +1
+1 Missile for the historic visit of the old cemetery of Céligny
+1 Missile for a special OTB (on the back, the back of Missile in this case)
+0.5 Boumboum, tour leader (but too many concrete & dirt roads)
+1 Boumboum for food supply
+5 for the owner of the "chemin de la Poissonnière" lakefront
