Epic Adventure Time - Saturday 22 Sept

Why its an adventure: 
Because its long, hard and we will be bush whacking a little between col de la croix and diablerets.


Epic
You will remember this ride - and its not for the weak hearted - there is one 'mother of all climbs' (Ask Tania and Alpine) and then no bus from Diablerets to Col De La Croix

The Tour
Bex - Col De La Bretaye (Villars) by train

Bretaye - Col de la croix (7km along)
Col de la croix - Diablerets: Rte to be found, but downhill
Bus from Diablerets to Col Du Pillon (time table missing from internet!!) but ther is 1/hr (ish) otherwise we climb
Col du Pillon - Isenau - Col-Des-Anderets - (Up)
Col des Anderets - Lac Arnensee - Feutersouey (Down) (Technical)
Feutersouey - Gsteig (along)
Gsteig - Col Du Pillon - UP UP UP UP UP (bus optional - but timing key....)
Col du Pillon - Les Diablerets - Nice downhill (Technical)

Diablerets - Col de La Croix - UP (There is NO BUS - the last one was 17'th September!!)
Then Col de la croix -> Villars (down/along) then Villars - Bex - Down

I have no idea how long this is but it will be an epic ride.

Timing

Catch the 8:39 train from Bex to Villars
Catch the 9:30 train from Vilalrs to Col De La Bretaye - Arrive 9:48.
Bring your demi-tarifs

Finally BRING LIGHTS: the descent back we may need them depending on delays.
