To All, thanks for making that superb summer evening !
Here we go with summary and pointage + you are welcome to add should I have missed something.

Trail: Fast & Fast, dusty, dry, winding, technical, bushy, thorny and Vita parcours time trial
Where: Bac-A-Sable Jussy Woods
Special guests: The Mosquitos - DNS (did not show)
Summary: No flat,(only slight cut in Nascar's sidewall) no technical, one OTB (Limoncello)
Entertainment: Papy's Famous Chicken & The Tomatoes + Spongex & Ice Creams

Last Saturday 3DC with Manu Chao and Green Days dir 42km with 641m positive climb. Very nice ride.
I suggest it for next Tuesday 28/08 meeting at 18h00 Bogis-Bossey chapelle.

The Cru 2012 had mixed performance


Tanya performed well beyond her number (101) and came in 6'th on the day (out of 10) - great job 2hrs 43
(Edit - most of the competition was pro/semi pro or sponsored!!)

Boum Boum went - "BOOM" at km 10 ish and struggled to km 21, ate a horse at the ravitaillement, then at km 23 decided he had had enough - not surprsing though - he was an a "perfusion" 3 days earlier from a stomach bug

Missile decided that his 1 x 9 was not geared low enough .......2hrs 27 finishing 24'th out of 38....
(2009 2hrs 38, 2010 2hrs 18, 2011 - 2hrs 18)

1 point each !!!
1500 m climbed
33km pedaled.

Thinking loud about 29th-30th september

As said yesterday with Alpine, Tanya(haven't you got a nn yet?) and Missile. If we only have sat-sun, how would it be in two days:
La Givrine-Mt. Sala-Marchairuz-Mt. Tendre-Mollendruz-Vaullion-Le Suchet-Chasseron-Creux du Van-Mt. Racine-Tete de Ran-Chasseral-Bienne.
Sleep could be around Le Suchet-Chasseron area.
If Jura weather allows also...
I can prepare an itinerary and check for hostel.
Who would be in?
I'm sure there are some kms involved, some vertical, some pain as well but for sure lots of fun.

Coming to Switzerland

It has been a tough 2 weeks !

Harley and Triumph on a ride !

How different they are...nevertheless both rode in harmony over six (6) passes for about 480km, Harley purring & Triumph Speed Tripling. Lost count of the turns we took, a straight line was a relief...Yvolet & Papy had their capuccino on top of Grand St Bernard and their pasta on Petit Saint Bernard..
