What is on your mind this weekend....riding?


When: Saturday, April 2nd.
Where: Jura
What: bring a suspension bike and no hang-over
Timing: Start 10h00 in Cheserex city
How long, far and high: ...we will see!

On Saturday and Sunday the weather is going to be beautiful. I like to ride both days and I am flexible with timing however I would like to ride one day in the Jura.

Super Charged: Ride number one was one to remember.....

Ride Stats: 37 km, 17.5kmh, 400 m climbing.

Funny coincidence: 6 29ers rode on the 29'th

Yay Factor: Noone was late !!! Yay. Dopey predicted an on-tim Labrico - but all covered in sweat....he was right.

Wow Factor: The T.O.R. Quiz was answered - boum boum's bike is indeed lighter than air. 8.17 kg

The Lighter than Air Award:  Nascar for thoughfully providing weighing scales +0.5

The "stretch it out" award:  Zulu for exertion beyond the norm and 'cramp attack' +0.5

The "lords light award" : Zulu for light assistance to fix missiles head lamp ! +0.5

Les Piccoles are Winning

Is there a family points category....if so we're winning !! The Piccole family went for a ride yesterday (the start of the season is the hour change)....Lilibeast made it up the 200m climb without stopping - Jabeast too. Even Nicki Pi was on the bike....







No blood, no soleils ! Just smiles.

Guessing game
The following quiz is running up our first ride Tuesday, March 29: guess the weight of this rocket and our referee will offer points to the closest. Try your luck to start the season away from the crowd! Dopey is guessing 9.15kg, Labrico 8.05kg.

For its 1st outing, the orange rocket discovers Petit Salève: «so many singletracks, I'll have fun in Boumboum land!»

Twelve Days......

The crew they were waiting some days numbered 12
to take their big wheely bikes off of the shelves.
But some couldn't do that, they just didnt get,
its still gauche to be riding a quite small trot-i-nette.

Those with the big bikes, they rubbed hands with glee
The trotinette riders, would they stay, would they flee ?
But hey trot-i riders, be you big with small wheels,
We still know quite exactly how y'all must just feel.

Cos like us you're waiting, to throw a leg over
(not the wife) but your trot, even better, your niner
So in days number 12. The count down's begun.
And we finally, can finally, on our bikes, have some fun !!

Fondue Set - Who wants his own MTB fondue fork?


Joe's I found this nice MTB foundue set. The forks set cost CHF 90 for 6 forks.
Who is in? As soon as I have 6 candidates I will order forks.
