Early this week the Caterpillar Mountain Biking team Blog was blocked to access for security reasons....Zorbas our Greek hero went for battle and fought bravely against the System to a great victory...the Blog is again for us to view and use. Thanks a lot Zorbas The Great !

+1 Zorbas et Labrico pour avoir croisé 2 filles Topless au bord du Rhône après  avoir parcouru un bout de route en ville avec une fille qui avait des jambes pas possible et qui a failli nous détourner de notre chemin, Limoncello dommage j'ai bien pensé a toi.

Simon, les inconnues Topless méritent bien des points ou autre chose...

ce we, ride de 2  jours au val d'Aoste pour découvrir cette perle du vtt enduro et du bon café a 2 pas de la frontière. 

Au menu : découverte des ride enduro de Pila avec un guide samedi, ride au val de cogne ou a la thuile dimanche, plus typé all mountain.

Rendez vous a Pila samedi 10:30 !

proposition pour mardi 9 (ou 16/9) :

la mythique descente de l'eau froide, dans sa variante depuis leysin

rendez-vous à aigle a 17:45 (à peine 1h de train depuis Genève ...)

on prend le train de 17:56 vers Leysin

arrivée 18:23 

le ride : petite montée de 200 m de d+ sur route suivie par une courte descente en forêt 

ensuite montée sur belle route d'environ 400 m de d+

puis après un petit alpage, descente en forêt, sur un sentier d'abord fun et plein de flow, puis un sentier à flanc de colline un peu engagé et ensuite sur 1000 m de d-, une quarantaine d'épingles serrées, rapides, cassantes, tout ce qu'on peut imaginer ...

arrivée a Roche, près de villeneuve, a 6-7 km du point de départ de aigle, retour a vélo le long de la route

durée : environ 2:00 de ride, 1500 de d-, 600 de d+

le soleil se couche vers 20:20

la fin risque d'être sombre, il faut des lampes

Ride: Jura, but close to Col de la Faucille (lights)

Eating: BBQ at the beach (food provided, warm clothes)

RIP 9 RDO - oh yeah....

Seriously, the BEST bike I have EVER ridden!!

The suspension is SO supple = magic carpet!
I really can't explain how good it is -  it blows everything else I have tried clean away.
Small bump -  amazing
Large hits - amazing
High speed - amazing
Climbing - amazing

All round better by far and also faster up and down than the Aluminium version

Lastly...climbs without ANY bob at all. YES!!

Finally compared to the RDO, my Tallboy experiment was a waste of time...but it got sold yesterday for a very good price so I am very happy!!
