Sortie du dimanche 25 mai.
RDV à 9h30 à la douane de Veyrier pour une sortie de VTT.
Michel Bucher, Christophe et en principe Boumboum mo confirmés leurs présence.
Si cela intéresse quelqu'un demain matin je vais faire un long tour de vélos de route avec des copains dans la vallée verte. Départ à 9h00 depuis Chêne-Bourg.

The Pace Car ride report - Tuesday May 20, 2014
Once the conflicting ride invites issue was solved and LaBrico found his way to Choulex football field through some unkown itinerary...we all took off in the late afternoon sun, Salève side, for some spinning on Papy's favorite dusty race tracks. Some called it a warm up, some a training ride, some a boring ride (meaning no f......g climbing..) some a beautiful ride, in welcoming forrest, gorgeous sceneries of maturing fields and amazing views over the Mont-Blanc. (soon Swiss territory as soon as our near bankruptcy friendly neighbour will sell..joking..)
Tartarin de Tarascon (Limoncello) could not believe his eyes seeing a rabbit and a faisan...no hunting in Switzerland - in France even hérissons (hedge hogs) are being hunted.
No flat, no mechanical, no otb, no blood (were faster than the mosquitos) Two chain drops !

A sunny day is waiting for us tomorrow, so let's go and roam the Jussy woods and vicinity in desperate search of our lost riding skills and spinning abilities.

Has anybody seen my GPS device?
Cannot find my GPS device and was wondering I I forgot it in somebody's car or house.
This will be the 2nd time I loose my GPS device, which means that I have to:
- Either get a GPS to trace my GPS
- Find a the pill which cures stupidity

Corporate games, Annecy July 5/6 - looking for 1 participant
Looking for 1 participant for the MTB race @ the 2014 Corporate Games
The 2014 Corporate Games will take place in Annecy July 4-6. This is a really cool event with corporate competitors engaged in 15 different sports, including … MTB. Caterpillar is one of the sponsors for this event. See web site.

The 6-km track is described as a mix of forest track and piste cyclable. Very nice track per feedback I got from participants last year, with a nice climb (I don't know about elevation).
Saturday afternoon is the team race with 4 laps / 4 riders. Husky, Zorba and Limoncello are engaged, but we miss the last team member.
Sunday morning is the individual event, 4 laps to ride. From what I understand, riders start every 30 seconds or every minute.
Not to miss: the saturday night game party.
Available? Interested to join the fun and the sweat (no pb if you're a dog). Pls let me know ASAP.
Additional: JoDriver Chantal is looking for paddlers for the Dragon Boat race!!!! If you think your arms are stronger than your legs, jump on the boat, or bring your best half.

Dans 92 jours le tour du Queyras débute ...
Dans 92 jours le tour du Queyras débute pour nous.
Avec Bouboum nous sommes en train de finaliser la trace pour la sortie des 4 jours du Queyras.
Préparez vous pour des beaux single et de belles montées, on va être proche des 6000m positif sur les 4 jours.
J'ai besoin des dernières inscriptions sur le Doodle pour mercredi 21 Mai pour que je puisse confirmer les réservations pour l'Hôtel ou Gite en fin de semaine prochaine.
Simon, je compte sur toi pour te joindre à nous, au minimum pour le weekend...

Malgré le désistement tardif de JM et le manque de motivation des troupes, je me suis tapé une belle sortie bien froide sur le Salève.
Mon médecin ma donné le feux vert pour recommencer tranquillement le vélos, mais je ne connais pas le mot tranquille après une longue période sans VTT et sans les amis du mardi, mais ils sont ou les amis du mardi ???
Et les amis il faudrait voir à vous réveillez et dérouiller vos gambettes pour le Queyras...

Last evening Kellydrinklikepapa and Daddy 3DC went out for a recovery ride along the Versoix wood. 25km 120 m positive climb very nice not too muddy.

Sunday 4th - Crozet or tandem
Hi, I plan to ride this Sunday to Crozet on the Jura as I'm back from 3 weeks from military service it will be a relax ride when going up.

If one guy wants to show me some mtb-trails that are feasable on a tandem (single suspension) let me know. The idea is to make a tour of 30-50kms and escaping the asphalt(start is from HUG), then in the future the idea is to ride with blind people on the track.
Some of you may know or not that I'm a guide in a tandem association, for the moment we are only riding on road bikes and we recently acquired our first mtb-tandem and now I'm involved to develop this new activity. If you have trails to share or if you're interested, please let me know!
