Impossible Salève sun, it is true.

Tues 24 April: Saleve

Hey Missile and others, thank you for the outting last night. Great ride: wet, muddy and scary on the way down, just the way I like it. And Joest we even took a couple of photies! You missed a good ride, and we weren't even rained on!!!

La Barillette....?!

No this is not a picture from last Jan...it is this morning!
In 2012 I rode down the top of La Dole on April 9th...it was snow free...!
Today on the 25th of April we can still ski there...What a start of the season :-(

When are we leaving for Finale?

This Summer...the ride plan! What can you expect...

Ready?...Summer 2012 is around the corner and here are some of my ride proposals!

1. Zinal, Grimentz, Col de Cou, Nax, Sierre...a combination of Corne de Sorebois, Col de Cou and more epic trails. Estimated up 1.800m and descent +3.200m. The cable car in Vercorin (see link) is closed this summer so this is the long version of the Brazilian but with the least pedaling.

2. You have all asked for it. Riederalp, Bettmerhorn and the famous ride along the Altesch Glacier. Page 156 until 160 in the famous Singletrails in den Schweizer Alpen. Bring you camera's! This requires an overnight in the area because the drive and cable car to get up there are +4 hours. I suggest we ride this during the week...it is a very touristic spot.

3. Close to "home" but not less interesting...Anzere Double Bisse with a topped with a nice descent back to the Valais floor.

4. Have you ever seen the Mont-Blanc from the other side? Here is you change. A fine day riding in Valle d'Aosta...ride the best trails in this undiscovered valley. 1.800m up and +2.200m down. Sweet single track with Italian food afterwards...!

5. Col du Grand St-Bernard to Martigny. Our beloved Swiss Postbus will get us there...we will enjoy the ride back! +40 km of sweet trails with a nice ride through Val de Bagnes.

Of course there is more....interested?
- Torrentalp to Leuk.
- Davos Bahnen Tour - 10.000m descending on sweet singletrack. Not for DH bikes!
- More...ask for it!

...and don't forget our weekend in Zermatt! A fine summer it will be. Here are some teasers..!
Riederalp & the Aletsch Glacier
Gornergrat - Zermatt
Col de Cou
The Brazilian!
