UPDATE - Portail de Fully - Sunday May 29!

Yes, you are invited to enjoy one of the best rides in the Valais! The Portail de Fully....for those who missed it last year...See the ride report here.

Latest update:
- Date Sunday May 29. Meeting at 09h00 Dorenaz telepherique!
- The weather looks excellent!
- Confirmed: Nascar, Missile and Dopey
- Unconfirmed: Labrico and Nameless
- Possible guest riders: Gaby + Friend, HP Serge
- We may do a XL version but it depends on time, legs, weather, group.
- Don't forget energy supplies (bars, H2O, etc.)

What, Where and When:
Dates: May 28 or 29 (weather permitting)...let me know what is your preference.
Time: 09h15 at the Dorenaz telepherique. If we are more than 4 I will reserve for 9h00. Be there well in advance to get your ticket and place in the cabin.
The ride: Portail de Fully....; x 1oo switch backs, superb single track and stunning views.
Rider level: 1.2oom climbing and technical challenging. This is not a ride for beginners!
Lunch: Will be enjoyed at: Relais des Chasseurs, Fully
What to bring:
- Fresh brake pads (and spare)
- Big balls...you will know why!
- Demi-tarif for the cable car
- A camera!

Some of you havent been able to post and even I hadproblems logging in and I'm the admin !!

What I did find is that Firefox worked for me and Internet Explorer didint

Food for thoughts award: thoughts or f.....ks, how to arrange lasagna for the boys! Nobody can do it like Labrico +0.5

Pepette New Kona




last saturday the 3DC's went for the Pepette new Kona innogurational ride. Beside a 3 points dive in the Versoix bis (the little bis beside the Versoir river) for Pepette (meme pas mal mais juste un peu mouillée et le Kona n'a rien), the ride was super for 3DC and his 2 girls Pepette and Kellydrinklikepapa. a 26.8 km ride for 108 m positive denivelation.

Caterpillar Yearly MTB weekend - Crans Montana July 22, 23 and 24

I am happy to announce the dates and location for this years Cat MTB weekend! A new location once again...with new fabulous trails to discover, DH possibility and superb after ride possibilities!
Here are the details:
Location: Crans Montana
Dates: July 22, 23 and 24
Hotel: Lago Lodge
We have 1 big room on south side with nice view on the mountains and the lake, with salon and wireless by the reception.
Price per night: around CHF 50 per head but depending on the number of participants

Ride plan:
- Friday July 22nd - Downhill day!
- Saturday and Sunday...sweet single track trails in the Valais!

DH bikes can be rented at the Kona Bikepark. Two beds have been reserved for Thursday for DH-er Missile and Dopey. Any additional lodging request have to be submitted asap!
GPS tracks of the rides will be available before the weekend.

What to bring:
- A bike that is ready for the job!
- Cash so you buy your riding buddies lots of drinks
- Party boots
- Your digital recording device...
- A (small) head lamp....take it with you on the bike. Surprise!
- Demi-tarif for the train!
